Claire Snowdon-Darling, the founder of Hormone Wellness, has shared the possible pain-relieving benefits of hormone therapy for the millions of women suffering from endometriosis.

Endometriosis causes tissue similar to the lining of the uterus to grow in other areas, which leads to inflammation of those affected places. This can result in intense pelvic pain, heavy bleeding and painful sex. [NHS]

Hormone Wellness is an online hormone clinic which supports hormone balance using a whole health approach including diet, nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle and stress relief. When dealing with endometriosis clients, their main focus is on reducing the inflammation, often through diet adjustments.

Throughout their work, they also run practitioner training courses taught through the sister company, The College of Functional Wellness.

Claire said she is “trying to build an army of exceptional coaches who are so much better trained than the doctors dealing with hormonal health”.

With training courses on a variety of health conditions, their work through the College of Functional Wellness centres around informing trainees on the different conditions they may come across when working within their company.

Here is a brief insight into their endometriosis training course:
